Out of Isle of Dogs (E14) the route runs through the Blackwall Tunnel and down the A2 to the M25, then round to the M23. Coming back from Gatwick the driver follows the M23, M25 and A2, then the Blackwall Tunnel back to the Isle of Dogs. That is about 30 miles: reckon 60 min off-peak and 95 min when the Blackwall Tunnel approaches is busy.
