Out of South Norwood (SE25) the route runs through Croydon to the Purley Way and down the A23 and M23. Coming back from Gatwick the driver follows the M23 and A23 north, then Croydon back to South Norwood. That is about 18 miles: reckon 35 min off-peak and 60 min when Croydon and the Purley Way is busy.
