On the network it is King's Cross St Pancras (six Tube lines plus LNER, Thameslink and Eurostar) to Arsenal (the Piccadilly line), plus a 5-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Arsenal station is exit-only for a spell after full time. Door to door by road is about 15 min, or 25 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
Out of King's Cross (N1C, N1, WC1X) the driver picks up the A501 then the A5200, joining A1 Holloway Road, then Drayton Park for the run-in. Roughly 3.2 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 15 min clear, 25 min loaded.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Emirates Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving King's Cross around 25 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
