The public-transport version starts at Southall (the Elizabeth line) and finishes at Twickenham (National Rail), with a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the station is queue-managed for over an hour after internationals. The taxi is about 20 min, or 35 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
The usual line from Southall is the A4020 then the A312, then A316 Chertsey Road, then Whitton Road at the end. About 6.6 miles in all - 20 min when it flows, 35 min when it does not.
Southall pickups take in all of UB1, UB2. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.

On international days the roads inside the cordon shut about two hours before kick-off, so drivers meet on Rugby Road or Craneford Way.
