By rail you would go Harrow-on-the-Hill (the Metropolitan line and Chiltern Railways) across to Twickenham (National Rail), then a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the station is queue-managed for over an hour after internationals. The taxi is about 30 min, or 45 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
