The public-transport version starts at Hounslow Central (the Piccadilly line) and finishes at Twickenham (National Rail), with a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the station is queue-managed for over an hour after internationals. The taxi is about 10 min, or 15 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
From Hounslow it is barely a journey on paper - A316 Chertsey Road, then Whitton Road and you are there. On international days the roads inside the cordon shut about two hours before kick-off, so drivers meet on Rugby Road or Craneford Way. What the fixed fare buys you is a driver who already knows which side of the closure to sit on.
Any address across Hounslow works, TW3, TW4, TW5, TW7, TW8, TW13, TW14, W4 included, at whatever hour the West London traffic is doing its worst.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Allianz Stadium, Twickenham sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
