By rail you would go Uxbridge (the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines) across to Twickenham (National Rail), then a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the station is queue-managed for over an hour after internationals. The taxi is about 30 min, or 45 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
From the UB8, UB9, UB10 streets the route runs via the A40 then the A4020 then the A408, finishing on A316 Chertsey Road, then Whitton Road. Roughly 12.0 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 30 min clear, 45 min loaded.

On international days the roads inside the cordon shut about two hours before kick-off, so drivers meet on Rugby Road or Craneford Way. If you were thinking of driving yourself: Allianz Stadium, Twickenham sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement.
