The taxi is about 30 min, or 45 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Driving yourself to Kempton Park Racecourse means joining the same single-file exit as everyone else, and the car parks empty in one slow wave rather than continuously. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Gates open well before the first race and the roads in are single-file near the course. Leaving Uxbridge about 45 min ahead of when you want to be through the turnstile is the timing that holds up.
