The public-transport version starts at Uxbridge (the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines) and finishes at Watford Junction (London Overground and National Rail), with a connecting bus at the far end. The catch is that the shuttle bus from the station only runs to tour times, so one missed connection is a missed slot. The taxi is about 30 min, or 45 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London has its own car park, but it fills from mid-morning in school holidays and at weekends, and the approach road backs up before the barrier does. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
