By rail you would go Hounslow Central (the Piccadilly line) across to Watford Junction (London Overground and National Rail), then a connecting bus at the far end. The catch is that the shuttle bus from the station only runs to tour times, so one missed connection is a missed slot. The taxi is about 45 min, or 1h 05m when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
