By rail you would go Hounslow Central (the Piccadilly line) across to Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee), then a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Olympic Way is queue-managed after full time and the walk is uphill. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 25 min, or 45 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
Out of Hounslow (TW3, TW4, TW5, TW7, TW8, TW13, TW14, W4) the driver picks up the A4 then the A30 then the A315, joining A406 North Circular, then Harrow Road and South Way for the run-in. Roughly 10.4 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 25 min clear, 45 min loaded.

Olympic Way (Wembley Way) is pedestrianised for two hours after full time, so allow for a short walk to the car. If you were thinking of driving yourself: Wembley Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. A drop-off and a booked return sidesteps it entirely.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Hounslow around 45 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
