You are already on the line the venue uses - Stratford (the Central, Jubilee and Elizabeth lines, DLR and Overground) serves both ends, so the rail option is really just a 18-minute walk at the far end. The snag is that the walk across the park is long and fully exposed to weather. A car is about 5 min, or 10 min when the roads are full door to door, but the point of it here is not speed. It is not joining the crowd on the concourse, and not walking it in the rain. For one person on a dry evening, walk it. For a group, a late finish or anything you would rather not carry, book the car.
From Stratford it is barely a journey on paper - A12 Blackwall Tunnel Northern Approach, then Warton Road and you are there. The Olympic Park bridges are pedestrian-only on event days, so pickup is on the Pudding Mill Lane side rather than Westfield. What the fixed fare buys you is a driver who already knows which side of the closure to sit on.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: London Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Stratford around 10 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
