The public-transport version starts at Stratford (the Central, Jubilee and Elizabeth lines, DLR and Overground) and finishes at Alexandra Palace (National Rail), with a 20-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it is a steep uphill walk unless you wait for the shuttle. Door to door by road is about 25 min, or 50 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
From the E15, E20 streets the route runs via the A11 then the A12 then the A118, finishing on A406 North Circular, then Bounds Green Road. That is about 9.7 miles. Reckon 25 min off-peak and 50 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
Stratford pickups take in all of E15, E20. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.

Parking at Alexandra Palace is limited and the surrounding streets are metered or permit-only, so self-driving usually costs more in time than the fare saves. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
