By rail you would go Wembley Park (the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines) across to Kew Bridge (National Rail), then a 8-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that it drops to a half-hourly service off-peak. The taxi is about 25 min, or 40 min when the roads are full, but it is one journey rather than three, and nobody stands up for any of it. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.
The usual line from Wembley is the A406 then the A404 then the A4088, then A4 Great West Road, then Ealing Road at the end. Roughly 7.3 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 25 min clear, 40 min loaded.
Wembley pickups take in all of HA0, HA9. Controlled parking zones and one-way systems are the driver's problem to solve, not yours.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Gtech Community Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Wembley around 40 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
