The public-transport version starts at Wembley Park (the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines) and finishes at North Greenwich (the Jubilee line), with a 5-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that the Jubilee platforms are a crush for 40 minutes after a show empties. Door to door by road is about 40 min, or 1h 10m when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.

A drop-off and a booked return sidesteps it entirely.
