Hyde Park Corner, at the top of Belgravia, is on the Piccadilly line straight to Heathrow. It is a long, stopping ride, though, and the station has plenty of steps for anyone with a large suitcase.
By car the driver goes up to Knightsbridge and out along the Cromwell Road and the M4. Your bags are loaded at the door and unloaded at departures.
By public transport: Piccadilly line from Hyde Park Corner direct to Heathrow, about 50–60 min. The catch is a slow, stopping ride and station stairs with luggage. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 40 min, or 65 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of Belgravia (SW1X / SW1W) the route runs up to Knightsbridge and west along the Cromwell Road and the A4 to the M4. Coming back from Heathrow the driver follows the M4 and A4 east, the Cromwell Road and Knightsbridge back to SW1. That is about 15 miles: reckon 40 min off-peak and 65 min when Knightsbridge and the Cromwell Road is busy.
