The public-transport version starts at Ilford (the Elizabeth line) and finishes at Arsenal (the Piccadilly line), with a 5-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Arsenal station is exit-only for a spell after full time. Door to door by road is about 30 min, or 50 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
From the IG1, IG2, IG3, IG4, IG5, IG6 streets the route runs via the A12 then the A118 then the A406, finishing on A1 Holloway Road, then Drayton Park. That is about 11.4 miles. Reckon 30 min off-peak and 50 min if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Emirates Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Ilford around 50 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
