By rail it is the Jubilee line to Bond Street and then the Elizabeth line to Heathrow. Both are fast, but the change at Bond Street is a long walk underground with cases.
By car the driver follows the Embankment to Westminster, goes round Hyde Park Corner and out along the Cromwell Road and M4.
By public transport: Jubilee line to Bond Street, then the Elizabeth line to Heathrow, about 50–65 min. The catch is a long interchange at Bond Street with luggage. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 55 min, or 85 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of London Bridge (SE1) the route runs along the Embankment, round Hyde Park Corner and out on the Cromwell Road, A4 and M4. Coming back from Heathrow the driver follows the M4 and A4, the Cromwell Road and the Embankment back to SE1. That is about 20 miles: reckon 55 min off-peak and 85 min when the Embankment and the Cromwell Road is busy.
