Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
By rail you would go Piccadilly Circus (Bakerloo and Piccadilly) across to Watford Junction (London Overground and National Rail), then a connecting bus at the far end. The catch is that the shuttle bus from the station only runs to tour times, so one missed connection is a missed slot. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 50 min, or 1h 15m when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
From the W1J, W1B streets the route runs via the A4 then the A302, finishing on M1 J6 or M25 J21a, then A4008 and Studio Tour Drive. That is about 24.3 miles. Reckon 50 min off-peak and 1h 15m if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
Pickups in Piccadilly land inside the Congestion Charge zone, which is already in the price - and on W1J, W1B the driver will name a legal stopping point rather than idle on a red route.
The Studio Tour Drive coach and taxi drop-off, right at the entrance. Tour entry is by timed ticket and late arrivals are not admitted, so we build in a buffer and aim to land 20 minutes before your slot. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: Studio Tour Drive, Leavesden, WD25 7LR.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London has its own car park, but it fills from mid-morning in school holidays and at weekends, and the approach road backs up before the barrier does. A drop-off and a booked return sidesteps it entirely.
Entry is timed, so we work backwards from your slot: 1h 15m for the drive from Piccadilly plus a margin for the approach road, which is the part that actually runs late.
£115 in a saloon, £145 in a 6-seat MPV and £160 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 50 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Piccadilly Circus to Watford Junction plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
The Studio Tour Drive coach and taxi drop-off, right at the entrance. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
A 6-seat MPV is £145 and an 8-seater £160. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
