Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
The public-transport version starts at Whitechapel (District, Elizabeth and the Overground) and finishes at Watford Junction (London Overground and National Rail), with a connecting bus at the far end. The catch is that the shuttle bus from the station only runs to tour times, so one missed connection is a missed slot. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 50 min, or 1h 20m when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. Three or more, or anyone with a case, and the fixed fare splits better than the tickets do.
Out of Whitechapel (E1) the driver picks up the A11 then the A1202, joining M1 J6 or M25 J21a, then A4008 and Studio Tour Drive for the run-in. That is about 25.4 miles. Reckon 50 min off-peak and 1h 20m if you are crossing town at the wrong moment.
We cover the whole of Whitechapel - E1 - including the streets where flagging something down is a matter of luck rather than timing.
The Studio Tour Drive coach and taxi drop-off, right at the entrance. Tour entry is by timed ticket and late arrivals are not admitted, so we build in a buffer and aim to land 20 minutes before your slot. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: Studio Tour Drive, Leavesden, WD25 7LR.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London has its own car park, but it fills from mid-morning in school holidays and at weekends, and the approach road backs up before the barrier does. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Entry is timed, so we work backwards from your slot: 1h 20m for the drive from Whitechapel plus a margin for the approach road, which is the part that actually runs late.
£120 in a saloon, £150 in a 6-seat MPV and £165 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 50 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Whitechapel to Watford Junction plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
The Studio Tour Drive coach and taxi drop-off, right at the entrance. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
Card, bank transfer or a business account, before or after the journey. A VAT receipt is issued either way.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
