Out of Basildon (SS13 to SS16) the route runs north on the A130 past Chelmsford to the A120, then west to the airport. Coming back from Stansted the driver follows the A120 and the A130 back to Basildon. That is about 42 miles: reckon 50 min off-peak and 75 min when the A130 and the A120 is busy.
Stansted has one terminal. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board once you have cleared baggage reclaim.
Landing late or early makes no difference: the driver follows the real landing time at Stansted and takes you straight home to Basildon.
The A130 and the A120 is where delays usually happen. Early-morning runs are quicker; in rush hour allow the full 75 minutes.
