By rail you would go Waterloo (Jubilee, Northern, Bakerloo and National Rail) across to Arsenal (the Piccadilly line), then a 5-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Arsenal station is exit-only for a spell after full time. Door to door by road is about 20 min, or 35 min when the roads are full, with no changes, no stairs and no queue at the barrier. If you are travelling light and early, the train usually wins on price. If you are in a group, carrying anything, or leaving after an event, the car wins on everything else.

If you were thinking of driving yourself: Emirates Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Pre-booked both ways, none of that is your problem.
