A car does the whole thing door to door in about 20 min, or 35 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. Two people with hand luggage should take the train. If you were thinking of driving yourself: Stamford Bridge sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
