Per vehicle, not per person. Tolls, congestion and crossing charges are already inside the price, and it does not change on the day.
On the network it is Charing Cross (Northern and Bakerloo) to Wembley Park (Metropolitan and Jubilee), plus a 12-minute walk at the far end. The catch is that Olympic Way is queue-managed after full time and the walk is uphill. A car does the whole thing door to door in about 30 min, or 50 min when the roads are full - and it does it with your bags in the boot. It is a fair fight on the way there. On the way back, when several thousand people want the same platform, it stops being one.
The usual line from Strand is the A4 then the A201, then A406 North Circular, then Harrow Road and South Way at the end. Roughly 11.1 miles, and the timing swings with the hour rather than the route: 30 min clear, 50 min loaded.
Strand is dense, one-way and camera-enforced. The driver texts a workable standing point in WC2R, WC2N instead of guessing, which is the difference between a two-minute wait and a fine.
Green Car Park off South Way is the usual private hire point; on full-house events pickup moves to Rutherford Way or Fifth Way. Olympic Way (Wembley Way) is pedestrianised for two hours after full time, so allow for a short walk to the car. Your driver sends the exact standing point and the registration before they set off, so you are not circling a car park looking for a number plate.
Address: Wembley Stadium, Wembley Park, HA9 0WS.
If you were thinking of driving yourself: Wembley Stadium sits inside a matchday or event-day controlled parking zone, on-site spaces are pre-book only and go early, and the residential streets around it are permit-holders only with active enforcement. Being dropped at the door and collected at an agreed point removes the whole problem.
Doors are usually an hour before the match. Working back, that means leaving Strand around 50 min plus that hour on a busy night - and booking the return at the same time, because the road out is slower than the road in.
£65 in a saloon, £85 in a 6-seat MPV and £90 in an 8-seater. That is the fixed price, agreed at booking.
Door to door the car is about 30 min off-peak. The rail alternative is Charing Cross to Wembley Park plus the walk, which is competitive going out and considerably slower coming back.
Green Car Park off South Way is the usual private hire point; on full-house events pickup moves to Rutherford Way or Fifth Way. You get the exact point and the registration by text beforehand.
The driver waits. We watch venue finish times rather than working to a fixed clock, so a late curtain does not leave you stranded or cost you extra.
Yes, and it is the leg worth booking. The driver is in position before you come out instead of you joining the queue that forms the moment it ends.
No. The fare is fixed when you book. Traffic, tolls and the hour are our problem, not a line on your bill.
A 6-seat MPV is £85 and an 8-seater £90. Bigger parties travel in several vehicles routed together.
Fares are fixed at booking and shown per vehicle. Distances and journey times are approximate and vary with traffic and the exact pickup address. Page reviewed 7 September 2026.
