The North Circular takes the driver from Henlys Corner to Brent Cross in a few minutes, and from there it is the M1 straight to junction 10.
By rail it is a bus to Hendon, Thameslink to Luton Airport Parkway and then the DART shuttle to the terminal.
By public transport: Bus to Hendon, Thameslink to Luton Airport Parkway, then the DART, about 55–70 min. The catch is a bus, a train and the DART with luggage. A car does the whole trip door to door in about 30 min, or 50 min when the roads are full, with your bags in the boot.
Out of Temple Fortune (NW11) the route runs west along the North Circular to Brent Cross and up the M1. Coming back from Luton the driver follows the M1 to Brent Cross and the North Circular back to Temple Fortune. That is about 24 miles: reckon 30 min off-peak and 50 min when Brent Cross is busy.
Luton has one terminal. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name board, so there is no DART shuttle or bus to work out.
