ExCeL is more than a kilometre end to end. Choose the West entrance (Custom House, Elizabeth line end) or the East entrance (Prince Regent DLR end) when you book, or simply give your hall number. The driver texts the exact spot and car registration, and you text back when you are walking out. Staying at Aloft, Novotel, DoubleTree, Sunborn or another ExCeL hotel? We collect from the hotel door instead.
London City Airport is ExCeL's neighbour - the drive is along Hartmann Road and the A1020 to Western Gateway, usually under 15 minutes. It is the obvious airport for European and domestic delegates. (in reverse). The driver checks live traffic before setting off and builds in a buffer for your flight time.
The DLR from London City Airport with a change at Canning Town reaches Prince Regent or Custom House in about 15-20 minutes. With light luggage the DLR is fine; the car is for groups, heavy cases, exhibition kit and anyone heading on to a hotel before the show.
